   I paired this hedgehog hand puppet with the story, “The Hat” by Jan Brett for my 3 year old daughter. She loves this little puppet and he seems to accompany us on our outings . One of my favorite aspects of the toy is that the puppet actually can be rolled into a ball, just as a real hedgehog does when frightened. What a great way to introduce children to animals other than they typical dog, cat, bunny favorites!

   My six year-old son loves this puppet. Its durable, cute and can be turned inside out. Our library has it also and it is almost always checked out.
